Taiwan, the Philippines (Luzon, Negros, Mindoro).

== Uses ==

The fruits are edible, sweet.

== Observations ==

*Sprawling shrub with prostrate long shoots up to several m long, spines few.
*Leaves simple.
*Flowers white.
*Collective fruit globular, ca. 1 cm in diameter, with persistent spreading sepals, yellow-orange (and pinkish-red?).

In forests and clearings at altitudes between 1500-2700 m.
