Daemonorops crinita (Miq.) Bl.

Distribution

Southern Sumatra (Palembang, Rawas).

Uses

The cane is used for coarse basketry and cordage. Heyne records the export of canes of D. crinita .

Observations

Clustering, slender rattan. Stem with leafsheaths 13 mm in diameter. Leaves cirrate; cirrus about 20 cm long. Found in lowland riverine forest.
