  • fleurs mâles en cymes de 3 fleurs ou plus, fleurs femelles par 1-2
  • corolle de 1 cm de long, urcéolée, veloutée rosée, à 4-5 lobes
  • fruit de 3,5 cm de diamètre, jaune-orange
  • 4 graines anguleuses

S'hybride avec Diospyros mespiliformis.
