- Lantana scabrida (West Indies, Mexico)
- Lantana splendens (Bahamas)
- Setose group
- Lantana hirsuta (Mexico)
Pour lui, la plupart des formes cultivées relève d'un "Strigose-Cordate-Dull" ou "SCD cultigen", appelé Lantana strigocamara : more likely a complex parentage involving L. nivea Vent., L. scabrida Sol. in Aiton, and L. splendens of the Strigose Group, as well as L. camara, and possibly other species (notably L. hirsuta of the Setose Group).
