Usages
Planted for the initial stabilization and revegetation of coastal sand dunes on the Atlantic coast of northern America and in Japan. Two cultivars had been released in USA since some decades. Wild distribution: Atlantic coast of North America from Newfoundland to North Carolina, shores of the Great Lakes, sparsely along the Pacific coast.
