Histoire

Usages

  • var. ambrosioides : Widely cultivated in warmer climates for the preparation of tea, occasionally as a pot herb.
  • var. anthelminticum : Locally grown as a garden plant (wormseed, American wormseed) used as a vermifuge. Larger plantations in Illionois and South Dakota as well as in Transcaucasus. In Cuba and Amazonia also a magic plant. In Moldova and Transcaucasus also hybrids between both varieties are grown.
Mansfeld.
