It is the only species of genépi to be cultivated (in Italy), as it can grow at moderate altitudes.

    • Ingredient of a famous liqueur called genépi.

Artemisia mutellina Vill. ALPINE WORMWOOD. Europe. The plant is used on the continent in the preparation of Eau d'absinthe, which is in request amongst epicures [1].
