This is a list of names in all official European languages of crops grown in Europe on a commercial basis. The first families documented are Compositae, Cruciferae, Gramineae, Leguminosae and Rosaceae. Names retained designate species or cultivar-groups. In some plants, such as fruit species, the situation is often confused, and names of leading cultivars tend to be used for groups. We tried to avoid them.
