Distribution
Sabah and the Philippines.
Uses
The wood is used as kekatong.
Observations
- A small to medium-sized tree of up to 25 m tall, bole up to 75 cm in diameter.
- Leaves with 1 pair of acuminate leaflets.
- Pod smooth, flat but thickened along the sutures, 4-6 cm × 2.5-3.5 cm.
C. elmeri occurs in the inner fringes of mangroves and in swamp forests up to 300 m altitude.
