The Philippines (Luzon).

Uses

The bark may be used for tanning. The wood is sometimes used.

Observations

• A medium-sized tree, up to 20 m tall with trunk diameter up to 50 cm.
• Leaves opposite, pinnately compound, with toothed leaflets.
• Flowers in racemes, fairly small.

This species is locally common in forests at 600-1700 m altitude.
