The first families documented are ''Compositae'', ''Cruciferae'', ''Gramineae'', ''Leguminosae'' and ''Rosaceae''. Names retained designate species or cultivar-groups. In some plants, such as fruit species, the situation is often confused, and names of leading cultivars tend to be used for groups. We tried to avoid them.
