This category would encompass all the PROTA pages. Its advantage is that it is created automatically. Other kinds of pages can be created as well.
This category encompasses all the PROTA pages. Such pages are also put in sub-categories corresponding to the plant primary use, and so to the volume in which they were published, if such volume exists. Pages which are not edited but present as starter kits are put in a separate category.
 
Most starter kits (pages created by a bot with a limited content) have still not be checked manually after their import. They will always appear in distinct subcategories.
 
Page titles appearing in italics refer to redirect pages, and are used when a minor species is only mentioned in the text of another species. Such redirect pages include links to the respective categories.
 
Common synonyms, or synonyms arising from recent nomenclatural changes (e.g. [[Quisqualis indica (PROTA)|''Quisqualis indica'']]) are also put in redirect pages, but without categories, as they should not appear in any list of species.
