Fruit à fruits ronds ou oblongs, couverts de cire. Les courges rondes peuvent atteindre 50 cm de diamètre, et les courges longues 120 cm de long.

Fruit mûr cylindrique, sans poils et sans cire. On le consomme immature, alors qu’il est encore couvert de poils.
