Usages
| Les graines, de cette plante (TROTTER, 1915), sont narcotiques et diurétiques.
Réduite en poudre, la racine est, à faible dose, utilisée contre la stérilité des femmes (GATTEFOSSÉ, 1921). La racine est réputée pour ses propriétés sédatives, aphrodisiaques et de tonique général; en application locale, les feuilles servent aux soins des tumeurs et des ulcères (PARIS et MOYSE, 1971). Selon HERAIL (in TROTTER) cette plante aurait la propriété de faire coaguler le lait. |
